About the Dot London Small Business Awards
Dot London, the capital's unique domain name, has launched the inaugural Dot London Small Business Awards to acknowledge all the small businesses that make London great.
Businesses, organisations and individuals can submit their online entry forms now by clicking on the relevant awards category and completing the online entry form. Participants can enter more than one category.
The Dot London Small Business Awards are free to enter for London-based businesses, organisation or individual with 1–50 employees that has been trading since April 2014, has a registered address in one of London's 32 boroughs and have an online presence.
The awards judging panel will review all entrants and announce the shortlist for each category on the 17th November after which voting will be open to the public via this website.
Voting will close on January 8th 2016.
All winners will be announced at the Dot London Small Business Awards ceremony in January 2016.
Launched in 2014, Dot London gives Londoners and London businesses the unique opportunity to associate their online presence more closely with the capital and benefit from the business advantages this provides.
Businesses both big and small now boast a Dot London web address that has facilitated a stronger online connection to the London community, including visitor attractions, ZSL London Zoo and Museum of London; the newest edition to the city's skyline, Sky Garden; and globally renowned creative agency, Publicis.
A number of the capital's new small businesses have also chosen to launch using Dot London web addresses, such as virtual personal assistant and business concierge, Fyxer; Camden-based gin distillery and brand, Half Hitch; and luxury food delivery service, Supper.

According to recent data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS)*, London has the highest concentration of small businesses in the UK, with one-in-six of the total number of small businesses registered in 2014 being based in the capital. With over 392,000 small businesses in London in 2014, the small business sector makes up a staggering 98 percent of all companies registered in the capital.
